Gavin Spence (he/him) is a successful education professional, analyst, and United States Army veteran. As a current Child Development PhD student with research focusing on health disparities in child life services; chronic illness disclosure and illness narratives in educational environments; and technology integration in public school curriculum. Gavin currently works as a pioneer in the field of virtual education assigned to Lancaster Independent School District’s growing virtual elementary campus, an initiative sponsored by the Texas Education Agency. On the Board of New Hope, he is serving as an advisor on accreditation.
