Laura Hamrin

Horse Trainer/Coach and Riding Instructor, CHA & PATH International Certified

Laura joined New Hope in 2020 as a consultant and instructor. She loves being a part of the team at New Hope as all the staff and volunteers have a teachable spirit and want to learn more to help our riders and to provide the best possible experience for them. She appreciates everyone's knowledge and enjoys learning from them too.

Laura has spent over 30 years in the industry. She earned her Degree in Instructor Certification from Morven Park International Equestrian Institute, Leesburg, VA in 1991. She was a Riding Instructor at Pegasus Farm a Therapeutic Equestrian Center, in Hartsville, Ohio, from 2006 to 2010. She has also worked at Riding Unlimited, Starlight, Victory Therapy and currently works at S.T.E.P.S as well as New Hope. She also owns her own business - Hearts Fire Equestrian Training in Aubrey.

In 2006, Laura became a CHA instructor and over the years has work hard at up-ing her certifications to becoming clinic staff for CHA. In 2007, she became certified by PATH International. In addition, she had earned her EMHS with PATH.
