Sam grew up spending summers at her aunt’s ranch and equine boarding facility. Her love for large animals only blossomed from there. She joined the Army shortly after graduating high school in Savannah, GA. Once that chapter was complete, she transitioned out of the field and into the classroom receiving her B.A in Psychology in Naples, FL. Currently, Sam is pursuing her M.S in Clinical Mental Health Counseling as well as her ESMHL with PATH. She loves the opportunity she gets here at New Hope, to not only interact with but assist volunteers in acquiring new horsemanship skills. This field is far more rewarding than she ever could have imagined.
